This release introduces a streamlined onboarding and funding experience in Emburse Pay as part of the move to our new payment partner, Airwallex. These updates help accounts payable teams get set up faster and track payments with greater visibility.

Improvements

You can now complete onboarding and start funding payments faster with Emburse Pay. The updated experience guides you through identity verification (KYC/KYB) and lets you fund payments directly from a linked bank account using direct debit. You also get clearer, more timely payment status updates, so you can track where each payment is with fewer manual follow-ups.

Who is it for: Finance and accounts payable administrators using Emburse Pay in the United States or Canada.

Deployment Schedule: This update is available in June 2026. Customers with existing payment reimbursement capabilities have the opportunity to upgrade to Emburse Pay.
