The Vendors page in Emburse Pay shows all vendors synced from your invoice system and available for payment processing. You use this page to review vendor payment readiness and assign a default funding account for each vendor.
This page is available to users in Emburse Enterprise Invoice and Certify AP who have the required permission to access Emburse Pay. Emburse Pay currently supports payments for vendors in the United States and Canada. Vendors outside the United States and Canada cannot be paid through Emburse Pay. Invoices for those vendors can be marked as paid offline.

- Your organization uses Emburse Enterprise Invoice or Certify AP.
- Your user profile has the required permission assigned:

What You Can Do on the Vendors page
The Vendors page is intentionally limited to reduce configuration complexity. All vendors flow through Emburse Pay automatically, and payment methods are managed by the payment service rather than by administrators.
All vendors from your invoice system are automatically synced into Emburse Pay if they include the following required details:
- Address line 1
- City
- State
- ZIP code
- Country (2-character code)
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
You cannot add, remove, or edit vendor details from the Vendors page.
Assign a Default Funding Account
You can assign a default funding account to control which account is used when paying a specific vendor.
How It Works
- The default funding account is used for all payments to that vendor unless you override it during payment processing.
- Vendors do not require a preferred payment method. Emburse Pay manages payment method selection automatically.
Go to Emburse Pay and select Vendors.
- Locate the vendor you want to update.
On the vendor row, select More actions.
- Select Payment Settings.
In the Payment Account dropdown, select the funding account.
- Set Virtual Card Authorization Mode to Default.
- Select CONFIRM.
The selected funding account is applied to future payments for that vendor.
Export Vendors from the Vendors page
You can export a filtered list of vendors from Emburse Pay for reporting or offline review. By default, exports include all data available.
Go to Emburse Pay and select Vendors.
Select Export.
In the Export Vendors dialog, select one or more Payment Method options:
Bank transfer
Credit card
Check
Select one or more Vendor Status options:
Payable
Not payable
Select EXPORT.
The system downloads a file containing only the vendors that match your selected criteria.
View Vendor Details
Go to Emburse Pay and select Vendors.
- Locate the vendor you want to view.
On the vendor row, select More actions.
Select Vendor Details.
- When you are finished reviewing the vendor details, select CLOSE to dismiss the dialog.
